A day out in Exeter
Sunday 18th February saw the Club at Exeter's Corn Exchange for the Western Counties Photographic Federation's Digital Projected Image Competition (DPIC). This is always a very popular event, with clubs coming from all over the South West.

This year, we came joint 41st (with 185 points) but the scoring was very tight, with only 15 points between us and those in 10th place.

Each image was scored out of 15. Our highest score was Alan Davey's image of”Kicking Up Stones” with 12 points. We then had a clutch of 11 points including:-

Ian's “Catching The Rays”, “Harvest Time” and “Lone Tree On King's Tor”.
Keith Miller's “A Ton-Up Down The Beach”.
Dave Rayner's “Young Chilean Blue Eagle” and “Rorika Bay”.
Alan Davey's “Oops”.

Although not our best day at this competition, we acquitted ourselves very well considering the calibre of the clubs entering.
