| Ivybridge
& District Camera Club were awarded no less than
five Highly Commended images by Judge Barry Mead in
the Devon Photographic Clubs’ Battle at Newton
Abbot on Saturday 9th May.
Both the print
panel and the digitally projected portfolio were given
HCs and then three individuals; Margaret Martin, (Merrivale
Sky print) Keith Miller (Dust-Up) and David Rayner (Dragonfly
Newly Emerged) were also commended with HCs for their
photographs.
The winning Panel
accolade was given to Kingsbridge & District Camera
Club for a panel of gannet-at-sea images. The centre
image, by Linda Paisley also won best print in show.
The winning Digitally Projected Image Portfolio was
from Newton Abbot and the best individual DPI was awarded
to Geoff Ashworth.
Visitors are
always welcome to club meetings and we meet at Bittaford
Community Hall from 7:30 PM, normally on the first,
second and fourth Tuesdays in the month. Our programme,
members’ photographs and much more are all available
elsewhere on this website.
