After some five weeks of really wet weather, members were beginning to wonder if the club's annual evening outing would be dogged by bad bad weather too. In the event though, the rain clouds held back and over 20 members turned up for a good evening out. The wind was high and cold, mind you and many members searched out sheltered locations.

Rain there was not, but the sky was filled with grey from time to time and some members experimented with colour filters to warm up their images.

Groups of members wandered off to various locations, seeking different subjects... or just shelter from the wind.

We had hoped for the sun to break through as it dropped towards sunset, but this was not to be, and most of us re-grouped in a local tavern to compare notes and reminisce of the 'one that got away'
