The annual Challenge from the Chair competition was held on Tuesday the 9th of November at St Johns Church Hall Ivybridge. The Chairman, Keith Miller, chose as the subject this year, 'TV Programme - the title depicted.'

In a picture submitted, two empty wineglasses and an empty bottle left in a rural setting was entitled 'The Last of the Summer Wine' and was but one example.

Many entries were received and the mind boggled at the images portrayed in print when the mind was left to wander.

First place in the Black and White section went to Keith Mullin of Ivybridge who also took second place. In third place was Robin Empsall also of Ivybridge.

First place in the Colour print section was won by David Rayner of Ivybridge with Steve Cleave of South Brent taking the second spot. Keith Mason of Ivybridge took the third position.

The Slide section saw Keith Mullin of Ivybridge taking first and third places with Keith Miller from Ivybridge second.

On the 16th of November club members will meet at St Johns Church Hall at 7.30pm to view the Western Counties Slide Portfolio and all are welcome to attend.
