A photography competition run by the BBC is looking for images that show how science is changing or minds, bodies and the world we live in and is open for entries until the 14th January 2005. First prize will be photographic equipment to the value of £1000 and one year’s membership of the Royal Photographic Society. There are two runners-up prizes of photographic equipment to the value of £500. Other prizes including BBC books, BBC DVDs and backstage tours around BBC Television Centre will be awarded to a selection of the best entrants who do not win first or runners-up prizes, in all categories. Winning entries will be displayed in a national exhibition, to be held at the Royal Albert Hall, London and at science centres around the UK in 2005 There are several categories of entrants: * Individual over 18 Individuals are asked to enter a single photograph accompanied by a caption of up to 50 words.
